Hicom Group established its first foreign company in United Arab Emirates - Dubai in 1998 and became one of the largest Computers and Components reseller and distributors not only in United Arab Emirates but also in the Gulf, Africa, and Levant countries.

In 1999, the company took a leading part in the IT field and expanded it operation by opening new Branch in Saudi Arabia.
